Diet is a major route for a variety of essential micronutriens required for proper brain function. There is substantial evidence that show dietary uptake of micronutrients (e.g. Se) can improve learning ability in animals. Even if a proper diet can not boost cognitive ability, an improper one impairs that for sure!
